(Cook)Book Club has been meeting (and eating) at Mosswood Park since the spring and now we’re moving inside for the winter. We decided to read Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America by Gustavo Arellano, who “presents a tasty trip through the history and culture of Mexican food in this country, uncovering great stories and charting the cuisine’s tremendous popularity north of the border.” Sounds interesting, right? You should join us! All you have to do is get the book, read as much as you can and meet us for drinks, cookies and conversation. Last year we had a cookie exchange party, so feel free to bring some goodies if you’re feeling festive.
