If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party at home (or if you’re going to a friend’s house and don’t want to show up empty-handed) here are some ideas for take out:
-
Fist of Flour will open at noon, so they’ll be ready for the “biggest pizza day of the year.” They’re offering delivery all day and it’s free if you order 5+ pies!
-
Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen posted some pics of her Super Bowl menu (Fried Catfish, BBQ Ribs, Deviled Eggs, etc) on Facebook and the food looks good.
-
I’ve heard a lot about Chef Smelly’s cooking, so you might want to check out his menu (Roasted Garlic Crab, Jambalaya, Brisket Sliders, etc).
-
You can order some dishes from Hopscotch including Wings with Blue Cheese Dip, Pork Shank Gumbo and Chrysanthemum, Shaved Apple & Cabbage Slaw.
-
Homeroom is offering something called Chili Mac: “our homemade chili mixed into Vermont white cheddar and topped with scallions and extra cheese.”
-
And Potliquor is doing a sportsball crate: “Pulled pork. Beer cheese soup. Crispy things, and dip for dipping crispy things into.” Yes, please!
And here are some ideas if you just want to go somewhere to watch the game and let someone else do the dishes.
