Grub Street announced that Sushi Park is “either open or about to open.”  After a little digging, I found more information on Oaklander Online.  Originally scheduled to open at the end of last year, the 20-seat restaurant is moving into the former Design Framing space.

Santa Cruz’s Saturn Cafe is planning to open a second location in Berkeley next month.  The vegetarian restaurant serves “American diner food with all the salty, sweet yumminess you love, but prepared in a health-conscious manner.”

No Worries Filipino Vegan Cuisine, a popular catering company has plans to open a restaurant in Oakland next month.  The location has had a lot of turnover in the past couple years; it was an Ethiopian (Damera) restaurant, and Thai (Dazz) before that.  Here’s hoping No Worries owner Jay-Ar Isagani Pugao can turn the bad luck around.
