Thirsty – 2 Wine Dinners and a Wine Walk

Bellanico and Paul Marcus Wines are hosting Italian winemaker Andrea Sottimano for a wine dinner.  He’ll guide people through a tasting of his 6 wines and chef Jonathon Luce will serve Northern Italian cuisine.  FYI, the event is limited to 25 people and it sold out last year, so make reservations now  if you’re interested.

On Tuesday, Beehive Market will begin featuring local vintners at their weekly Locavore Wine Club Dinners.   Blacksmith Cellars is up at bat first.  Chef John Silva will serve a 3 course menu: Baby Lettuce and Frenched Green Bean Salad with Stone Fruit Vinaigrette and Pepper Whipped Goat Cheese Crostini (paired with Chenin Blanc); Oven Roasted California Halibut with Confit Potatoes and Smoked Tomato Sugo (paired with Grenache/Syrah); Sling Coffee Petite Bread Puddings with Salted Caramel and Sweet Cream (paired with Late Harvest Syrah).
