I’m super excited to announce the first meeting of the east bay dish book club. This is how I envision it: we’ll read a book once a month, and then meet for discussion. Books can include food memoirs, cookbooks, or pretty much anything food related. If we want, we can even cook recipes from the books and bring the dishes to share. Sounds like fun, right? The first book is Four Kitchens: My Life Behind the Burner in New York, Hanoi, Tel Aviv and Paris. Information about the location will be emailed prior to the event, but we’ll probably meet in a coffee shop in Oakland or Berkeley.
