So, I know I already announced the first meeting of the east bay dish book club in November, but you’re in luck. We postponed it until after the holidays so more people could participate. This is how I envision it: we’ll read a book once a month, and then meet for conversation. In the winter, we’ll read a food memoir and get together in a coffee shop. When it gets warmer, we can choose a cookbook, try some recipes and meet in a park to share the dishes. I’m still finalizing the location so the adress will be emailed prior to the event. Sounds like fun, right? The first book is Four Kitchens: My Life Behind the Burner in New York, Hanoi, Tel Aviv and Paris and it’s time to get reading! Borrow (Oakland Library, Berkeley Library) or buy (Books Inc, Amazon), the choice is yours.
