B Restaurant recently started a 510 Happy Hour. This means on Tuesdays through Fridays from 5:10 – 6:10 local wine and spirits are put on center stage. I tasted the Bijou ($5.10), handcrafted with Alameda’s St. George Terrior Gin, Green Chartreuse, Vermouth Di Torino and Orange Bitters. It was wonderfully boozy with the essence of lemon – a quality cocktail. My seat at the end of the bar had a beautiful view of the parade of wood fired pizzas coming out of the oven. Next time.
